其實轉用其他人的頭像而成為新聞，在外地也曾經發生過，而且亦與馬拉松有關。
早前談過的里約奧運男子馬拉松亞軍埃塞俄比亞跑手Feyisa Lilesa，因為衝線時的交叉手勢一戰成名。這手勢，其實意味聲援己國中的奧羅莫人抵抗極權。族人為表感激，不少都自發將社交網絡或通訊程式中的頭像轉成Lilesa交叉手的圖像。此手勢，在當地更一度成為反動標誌而遭禁。
當然，他們這次舉動背後蘊藏了極大意義，圖像也絕非 #隨機 選出，這大概也是常識吧。
